GSF have recently moved into a large new warehouse in Wolverhampton, as part of the overall fitout they wanted to cool their large open plan office using a low cost and low carbon solution, so they approached Celsius Design and we designed a full EcoCooling system to provide comfortable working conditions even in the height of the summer months.

Another great advantage of EcoCooling is that it constantly introduces fresh air into the area, thus keeping CO2 levels at near external levels thus leading to far healthier working conditions for staff when compared to conventional air conditions systems that merely recirculate the same old stale air.

The scheme consists of 3 no. roof mounted EcoCooling units ducted into the area and discharging the fresh filtered chilled air through 12 no. ceiling mounted diffusers.

The warm air is removed from the area using 3 no. Celsius ducted extraction units venting into the large Warehouse, the whole system is thermostatically controlled and has an overriding timeclock system, thus making the system fully automatic.

The EcoCooling system will be over 90% cheaper to run when compared to a conventional AC system.
