MPE is a leading contract electronics manufacturer of printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies.

The MPE electronics production facility, based in Uckfield, West Sussex, previously suffered from high working temperatures, before getting in contact with Celsius to design a suitable cooling solution to tackle the overheating problem. 

Celsius installed two EcoCooling Evaporative cooling units, one roof-mounted and one wall-mounted. The EcoCoolers introduce the chilled input air into the area which is then balanced with the existing extraction fans that remove the warm humid air creating a comfortable air flow rate.

With a combined cooling capability of over 70kW, the EcoCoolers were able to drastically reduce the working temperatures of the workshop.

Celsius undertook the complete installation including power and water supplies to both EcoCoolers. All work was undertaken during normal working hours, causing no disruption to the daily operational processes.
