When leading pharmaceuticals manufacturer Carbogen wanted to keep their manufacturing and storage facilities cool they contacted EcoCooling and Celsius.

They had to extract both heat and fumes from both areas and the manufacturing area was ATEX-rated meaning that any equipment fitted in there had to be suitable for such a dangerous environment.

Celsius had the skills to design such a system using EcoCooling coolers and Celsius ATEX extraction units.

They also had to provide filtered replacement air to slightly pressurise the area to maintain the high hygiene standards required in the pharmaceutical industry.  To achieve this we installed two Celsius wall-mounted inflow units with steam heater batteries, ATEX fans and an external G4 grade filtration system.

The steam heating was required to temper the incoming air during the cooler winter months.
